So we make it our goal to please Him…”
(II Cor. 5:9)

Our overall goal is to be a church of “God-Pleasers.”
We want our words, actions, attitudes, and relationships to bring glory to Him!
We can best please God by holding to these core values:

LOVING:
We desire to express our love for God and for others (Matt. 22:37-40).  Love is the main evidence that we are followers of Christ (Jn. 13:35).
We believe that our relationship with God is our highest priority and that we express our love for Him by worshipping Him and by loving those around us.

LEARNING:

This church is a school of discipleship.  With the Holy Spirit as our teacher, we are committed to studying, understanding and applying God’s word (Matt. 28.20, 2 Tim. 3:16-17). As a community, we help each other learn and grow (Col. 3:16).  By the word of God, the Spirit of God and the people of God, our aim is to develop the character of Christ.

LIVING:

Learning is for living.  We want to live by faith, following the teaching and example of Jesus Christ (Matt. 28:20, James 1:22-25).  We are committed to be His disciples and to make disciples.  This is how we “seek first God’s kingdom and His righteousness…” (Matt. 6:33).

LOOKING:
We live each day in expectation of Christ’s return (I Thess. 4:13-18, 5:1-3).
We believe that looking back to Christ’s death and looking forward to His return should motivate us for evangelism, for service and for Christ-like living.
